    Intermediate hike on rocky, steep path, varied landscape. We'll take Drake Brook train and Sandwich Mountain Trail. Depending upon the mood of the party, we might turn back from Jennings Peak after about three hours or continue climbing for about an hour to the Sandwich dome.

    meet: Waterville Valley, NH.

    [From exit 28 on I-93, take NH 49 generally northeast for about ten miles to a large parking area on the right (southeast) side of the road. This parking area is the trailhead for several trails. Ours is called Sandwich Mountain Trail.]

    additional info: From Boston, we'll start at 7:00 a.m. Since we would like to organize the carpools ahead of time, the Boston meeting place will be agreed upon with the people who have signed up.

    bring: good shoes, raingear, water, food, sunscreen and bugspray.
